It Seems That There Are Times When It Is Disadvantageous To Have The Name Of Your Airline Written On The Side Of Your Plane

Who knew?

I should mention that I did not take this picture, but that someone named Janis Krums did, and that I found it here. I will take it down as soon as Mr. Krums, or someone representing him, asks me to do so, at dcous at hotmail dot com.

I'm not so sure, since Cpt. Sully is now a hero and he works for said airline. At least it shows they can hire competent pilots. I wonder if people are paying more attention to those pre-flight instructions? I also wonder if a seatback would really float. I don't want to find out. I would like to fly somewhere just so I can be the one passenger to raise my hand and ask the flight attendant, "Could you please go over that again?"

I have to admit, the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was the British voice on the Continental Airways video I saw the first time I flew (I was 13), saying "In case of a water landing slides may be used as rafts."

Yeah...I've been seeing news about it even in Spain.
