There once was a student in college...

...And one day he lept o'er a tall hedge. Sorry kids, I've no chance of coming up with the rest of that limerick. Hm. I suppose it's not a limerick, then. Oh well. So, how are you? I don't honestly know if you're still there, and if you're not I can't exactly blame you. I really ought to work on finding my niche in the blog world. You know, where I offer something that other people don't offer, or at a better price. Unfortunately, everyone and their uncle does pretty much the same thing I do with my blog with their own. On the other hand, girl pants: I can offer no explanation for this image, suffice to say that if anyone's reading this they probably know who's lower half is squeezed into those Levis. Certain references to the film "This is Spinal Tap" spring to mind. In other news, the wonderful bounty of the internet has yeilded hilarity yet again. Far to the Southwest, in the land of bratwurst and beer, there is a place called the Milwalkee Institute of Art and Design. I know what you're thinking, "what's so funny about art school?" "What," you ask? It's art school, for crying out loud! They teach you how to make crap, and then describe it as the deepest thing ever created by man. Ok, to be fair, I've never been to such an institution, and I have the artistic ability of a dead pufferfish, but I'm about to argue that the students at MIAD are no Picassos themselves. Anyhoo, at this fine art school, they have a program of study called "Time-Based Media," which in non-art speak might be called "Film." Paydirt. PAY DIRT. Ok, I can't really explain what I'm about to link to, I'm just going to give you the link, and let the chef d'oeuvre speak for itself: click here. Well, that's all for now, friend. I do hope that everything is well in your part of the world. Stay out of girl pants, unless of course you're a girl, in which case I can't help but recommend them. TTFN! Ta ta for now!

I'm still here. Just figured I'd let you know . . . considering the fact that you probably didn't know in the first place ;)

How astute of you, Jaimi. In fact I had no idea. Thanks for reading!

Here here. I've never had denim up my @ss, but whoever wants to experience that has something wrong with them.

figure i'll weigh in on this one too... i think wearing a bit closer fitting pants is fine, they don't have to be so baggy they are falling off your body... but the tight look- um, its kind of immodest and gross frankly. reminds me of that janitor at the Naw who wore his pants so tight you couldn't tell if he was on the outside trying to get in or the inside trying to get out... and he walked with a limp. i remember many serious debates about why he limped and the probability that the limp was related to the pants being too tight. so to all of you in the TTPR, beware... mobility is definitely a plus, even if it means wearing your pants a size or two bigger... not to mention the sterility problems of TTP wearers... but thats another topic for another day... or to ask grandpa bob about :D

What a fascinating issue. I've never really thought about guys wearing girls pants, seems a little odd to me. I already hate most girls pants (they're either too long, too low, too high, too tight, too loose and in all the wrong places), and to think that guys would willingly suffer those things when they can wear baggy....hmmm. Very disturbing. I have a revulsion to extremely tight pants on men. This stems from the men's speed skating "uniforms." Some things are not meant to be seen. Or even imagined. Actually, too tight pants are a very big issue, and not just for boys, girls who wear TTP are also on my list of NoNos. That's a long list. Hmm, one item on that List is blogging and internet surfing while I have a brazillian things to do for review on friday.

Which reminds me....The "Time Based Media" was hilarious, ahhh, art schools....home sweet home. Scary, but we're doing a similar project in Graphics 4 right now, "motion graphics" not to be confused with "animation" because apparently we get in big trouble if we step on the Film and Video majors (who have invaded our building and taken one of our labs and don't let us print on "their" printer even when it's the only working color printer on the CAMPUS). Plus the teacher was mean to me once.

Anyways! I still read your blog D!
